This historic photo is of Westbank Elementary School, circa 1958.
The school was made of wood and would later be turned into a shop for industrial classes at George Pringle Secondary School.
The photo was shared on the Facebook page Old Kelowna where social media users chimed in with memories of attending the school right into the 1980s.
