Parkinson Rec Centre in Kelowna is buzzing with holiday spirit as the Kewl Christmas Market runs today (Nov. 19).
Hosted by Kewlchic, owner Anita Kemp said this is her second year hosting the Christmas market and her first at the recreation facility.
“Last year we did it at the Red Barn and in the spring we did a couple at the Red Barn.”
The market includes over 30 vendors with everything from handmade goods and foods to children’s books and jewelry.
“Today we’re here to support Piggly Wigglys Sanctuary. So, the door fees go towards them.”
Entry to the event is $2 per person. Door prizes are taking place approximately every 20 minutes, and a grand draw will happen shortly before the event ends where one lucky person will win a $300 gift certificate to Sparkling Hill.
The market is on until 3 p.m. today.
