From April 8 to 13 Penticton’s Vintage Car Club is putting on a showcase for the 47th year.

The annual show, held inside Cherry Lane, will highlight some of the club’s collection of vintage cars.

People are also invited to cast their votes through the six days the show runs to select their choice for best car on display.

Previous years have seen all sorts, from 1930s-era vehicles to slightly more recent models.

“We have a lot of 1952 vintage this year,” said Dave Shalanski, the show’s coordinator. “I think it’s going to be pretty unique.”

The club is the Penticton branch of the Vintage Car Club of Canada, and have been putting the show on every year outside of 2020 and 2021 during the pandemic.

About nine vehicles are currently expected to be set up inside Cherry Lane for the six days of the show.
