The Canadian icons behind some of rock's greatest hits are coming to Penticton.
Bachman-Turner Overdrive (BTO) has announced a nationwide tour next spring, with a stop scheduled at the South Okanagan Events Centre (SOEC) on April 4, 2025.
The “Takin’ Care Of Business” and “You Ain’t Seen Nothin’ Yet” band will be joined by April Wine and Headpins when it takes the Penticton stage.
"Years ago, BTO rocked Canada coast to coast, sharing the stage with acts like ZZ Top," said frontman Randy Bachman. “Now, we're excited to return, bringing along Canadian rock legends April Wine and Headpins."
BTO is also expected to play hits from The Guess Who, another iconic Canadian group Bachman formed with Burton Cummings in 1965.
"Get ready for a night of 70s classic rock that continues to dominate the airwaves," Bachman said. "Crank up the hits! Canadian rock is back, and BTO is back."
Bachman has earned more than 120 gold and platinum album/singles awards around the world. Selling more than 40 million records, the Winnipeg songwriting has garnered him top spots on radio playlists in over 20 countries.
Tickets for BTO's show in Penticton go on sale Friday, Nov. 8, at 10 a.m. They can be purchased online at valleyfirsttix.com, or in person at the SOEC box office.
Penticton marks one of five B.C. concerts on BTO's upcoming tour, with Victoria, Abbotsford, Cranbrook and Prince George also scheduled to host shows.
