Local star Andrew Allen is lending his voice and talent in support of North Okanagan Hospice House Society.

The Vernon musician will emcee the sold out Dancing With the Vernon Stars fundraiser for hospice, which takes place Sept. 28 at the Vernon Recreation Centre.

But before the 10 couples kick up their heels and wow crowds at the main event, Allen will croon crowds at a fundraiser hosted by Team Flirty Dancing of Kris Fuller and Ryan Sheepwash on Sunday, Sept. 22, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at 3908-28 St.

“We are thrilled to have Andrew Allen's support for this event,” said Fuller, who also volunteered with Sheepwash at the IPE and raised funds for hospice. “His music brings people together, and we’re excited to see the community come out for a wonderful cause. It’s going to be an evening filled with joy, music, and a sense of togetherness.”

Guests are invited to enjoy an open-air concert in a beautiful backyard setting. Tickets are $55 per person, and a bar will be on-site, visit https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/andrew-allen-backyard-music-fundraiser-tickets-1007842452907?aff=oddtdtcreator.
