Comedy for all ages is coming to the Vernon and District Performing Centre (VDPAC).
Two-time Guinness World Record-holder Alex Zerbe will be returning to the Centre for his Zaniac Comedu Show.
Following his raucous performance in January 2019, Zaniac will return on Oct. 19.
Zerbe will juggle bowling balls, giant knives and slice vegetables in half with a flying playing card. Beatboxing, dancing, singing, music and magic are just a few of this skills mash-up that Piers Morgan of America’s Got Talent called Alex, the total package.
"I try to make my show like the movie Shrek, super entertaining for the kids but there’s a whole other level of comedy for teens and adults,” said Zerbe, who has performed everywhere from cruise ships and comedy clubs.
The professional Zaniac has been cracking jokes onstage for almost 15 years, zigzagging between physical stunts and non-stop comedy.
“This show is sure to capture your inner ten-year-old,” said VDPAC’s Erin Kennedy: “Think Jim Carrey’s physical comedy meets a boundary-pushing Guinness World Record attempt. It’s jaw-droppingly impressive and absolutely wacky."
The show will begin on Saturday, Oct. 19 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $12 for all ages.
