Larry -- it has been a year and so many firsts for all of us without you
You filled my life and so many others with love and acceptance and left your handprint on my heart .
I miss you ~ your laughter ~ your council ~ your hugs
THE GIFT
You are gone but not forgotten - you fill my thoughts in everyway,
I feel you close and see the signs that you leave everyday.
You touched so many hearts - even those who just passed through, And I share all of the memories of times they spent with you.
THE GIFTS you gave were simple they were tied with the strings of your heart,
There was no fancy paper for folks to tear apart.
The presence that you offered - could not be bought or sold,
But were wrapped in love and kindness -- you gave to us with care to hold.
All the bounty that you were inside -- was a light that just shone through.
It had no price it was invaluable ----- for THE GIFT you gave was you!
