“In just a few short years, Kelowna has really established itself as a craft beer hot bed in our province. There is so much brewing talent here, and the business owners are so passionate about craft beer. We’re lucky to have so many great breweries to explore in our own backyard,” said Kieren Armour from the Central Okanagan Brewer’s Association. “When our breweries go toe-to-toe with the larger out-of-market breweries and win top honours like this, it really demonstrates the level of quality that our local craft breweries are producing. It is such an exciting time for craft beer in the Okanagan.”
Over 63 breweries and cideries attended the Fest of Ale, which is the one of the largest and longest running beer festivals in the Pacific Northwest.
Kelowna beer will continued to be celebrated on Saturday, May 11 at Kelowna Beer Fest.
