Big White Ski Resort is making the customer experience easier.

On Thursday, Dec. 14, the mountain opened its new $5.5 million central reservations facility. The state-of-the-art building improves guest services as well as arrivals and departures at the resort.

“This multi-year project is a testament to our dedication to providing an outstanding experience for all our visitors and team members alike,” said Big White Ski Resort senior vice president Michael J. Ballingall.

The facility opened on Thursday after a ribbon-cutting done by Director of the Regional District of Kootenay Boundary Electoral Area E/West Boundary Sharen Gibbs as well as Big White president and CEO Peter Plimmer, building designer and architect Hugh J. Bitz, and Duncan Robinson, the owner and operator of West Bay Construction, who helped build the project.

On top of the guest lounge and increased guest parking, the second level of the building has a 360-degree view of the resort and mountains.
