It’s that time of year again to get into the holiday spirit with some Christmas cheer.

The Winter Wonder Bar is back to help without into the groove of the season.

The bar has typically popped up at Jack’s On Bernard Avenue but this year it has relocated to Pretty Not Bad on Clement Avenue.

Winter Wonder Bar will open its doors at Pretty Not Bad on Friday, Nov.24, at noon and will be in place until Dec. 26.

James Addington, owner of Pretty Not Bad, wanted to mix it up a bit this year after three years of running the Winter Wonder Bar at Jack’s.

“We wanted to try to offer a more layered experience and also wanted to give more people the opportunity to enjoy the Winter Wonder Bar experience,” said Addington.

Pretty Not Bad opened in late June this year and has established itself as a great spot for sports, eats and community events. The restaurant has a stage to host performances, such as live music, Christmas Carollers, visits from Santa and a few more surprises.

Each year the Winter Wonder Bar is dressed to impress and this season is no different with Designer Amanda Clark installing the decor. Clark is known for her playful and unique decor installations at Denim on the Diamond and Altitunes.

Clark will be taking her first shot at decorating the Winter Wonder Bar and plans for the venue from floor to ceiling Pretty Not Bad will be closed on Nov. 22, to decorate.

Chef James Holmes the OG Salt & Brick Chef has been enlisted to bring his one-of-a-kind and whimsical culinary concepts to Winter Wonder Bar this year. Holmes promised that “the food will feel like the fully decorated room, Christmas everywhere but in this case, it’s in your mouth.”

Winter Wonder Bar will also be filled with seasonally inspired cocktails, this year’s menu has been curated by Jason Fredrick, “Dr. Cocktails” general manager of Jack’s on Bernard.
