Community events for Central Okanagan electoral area residents

Events are planned for Ellison, Killiney Beach, and Joe Rich

The Regional District Central Okanagan (RDCO) has three Community Connection Events planned for May.

The first is on May 6 at the Ellison Heritage Community Centre (4411 Old Vernon Road), the second at Killiney Beach Community Hall (516 Udell Road) on May 7 and the third is taking place at the Joe Rich Community Hall (11481 Highway 33 East) on May 8.

All events are scheduled from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Local fire departments and/or community associations will be firing up the barbecues to offer snacks by donation. Regional Parks team will be bringing games for families to enjoy.

Representatives from various RDCO services will provide information including:

  • Waste Reduction
  • Regional Emergency Program
  • Fire
  • Economic Development
  • Finance
  • Parks
  • Protective Services (Bylaw, Dog Control, Crime Prevention)
  • Development
  • Engineering

The RDCO will also attend the Westbank First Nation (WFN) Advisory Council’s Annual General Meeting on April 16 to share information about services delivered to residents on WFN lands.
