Two families received the keys to their new Lake Country homes from the Habitat for Humanity Okanagan on Wednesday, March 19.

The Habitat for Humanity Okanagan recently celebrated a milestone as it marked full occupancy of the Lake Country affordable housing project.

In a small ceremony on Wednesday, March 19, two families received the keys to their new Lake Country homes, moving into the Habitat for Humanity's 12-home development.

“This is more than just a house—it’s a foundation for a brighter future,” said Andrea Manifold, CEO of Habitat for Humanity Okanagan. “For these families, homeownership means stability, security, and the opportunity to build a better future for their children. We are incredibly grateful to our volunteers, donors, and partners who make moments like this possible.”
