Multiple RCMP officers surrounded the area of KLO Road at Hall Road, on Sunday afternoon after a resident reported an individual drinking in a vehicle with a gun.
Police quickly responded to the incident as the individual was causing concern for those in the neighbourhood.
According to Cpl. Michael Gauthier, officers were able to determine the firearm was a pellet gun.
“No criminal offences were committed despite the large police presence while investigating the matter,” said Cpl. Gauthier.
The area was blocked for some time Sunday afternoon, which prevented residents from entering the Hall Road neighbourhood.
