A vehicle has collided with parked vehicles in a car dealership on Highway 97, in Kelowna.
The incident at the Kelowna Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealership occurred at approximately 2:40 p.m. on April 1. A grey SUV appears to have rolled off the highway and into the vehicles that are parked in the lot at the dealership.
Police have closed two lanes of southbound traffic on Highway 97.
One person appeared to have been trapped in the truck but was extricated by the fire department and paramedics. The person is being taken to the hospital in an ambulance.
A cat was also rescued from the vehicle and is being taken care of by B.C. Ambulance paramedics and the RCMP. The cat appears to be uninjured.
The grey SUV appears to have damaged two vehicles that were parked at the dealership in addition to a green electrical box.
