Hazardous waste, electronics disposal day for North Westside residents

North Westside residents who want to get rid of hazardous waste, computers and other electronics have a chance to do just that on Saturday, July 25.

Hazardous waste collection will be from 8 a.m. to noon at the North Westside Road Transfer Station. Residents can safely dispose of the following: household paint and aerosol paint, flammable liquids and aerosols, domestic pesticides with the poison symbol and PCP number, gas, household and automotive batteries, electronics and computer equipment, small appliances, lights and light fixtures.

Propane tanks, chemicals or commercial waste products will not be accepted.

The transfer station is located along the Sugarloaf Mountain/Whiteman Creek Forest Service Road.
