New Peachland mayor and councillor spend the most and least on election campaigns

Patrick Van Minsel spent $8,787 on his campaign, Alena Glasman spent under $200

Peachland Mayor Patrick Van Minsel’s total expenditures for the 2022 campaign were $8,787.22, according to Elections BC documents.

Former mayor Cindy Fortin spent $3,841.94 in losing to Van Minsel.

Coun. Alena Glasman spent the least amongst all her counterparts at $190.59.

The rest of Peachland councillors spending during the campaign is listed below:

  • Randey Brophy $2,230.48;
  • Terry Condon $1,818.96;
  • Rick Ingram $1,634.78;
  • Keith Thom $1,513.65;
  • David Collins $905.85.

Van Minsel was elected mayor with 1,157 votes to Fortin’s 293 ballots.
