The City of West Kelowna is hosting information sessions on the Rose Valley Water Treatment Plant in September.

The final phase of construction to install water transmission mains is anticipated to start later this month in the Sunnyside and West Kelowna Estate areas. Prior to construction starting, the city is inviting the community to drop by Lakeview Heights Baptist Church (2630 Alhambra Drive) on Thursday, Sept. 15, or Wednesday, Sept. 21 between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. to learn more about the project.

There will be an opportunity to meet the project team and learn about the progress of the project.

A virtual information session is available on the city’s website. Community engagement kits will be available for pick up at city hall starting Sept. 15 upon request.

When operational in 2023, the plant will deliver safe, clean drinking water to 18,000 residents with room to grow.
