The Rotary Trail parking lot will be temporarily closed starting on Monday, Aug. 17.
The City of West Kelowna said the closure is due to construction of a staging area for in-stream works as part of the Gellatly Road Bridge replacement over Powers Creek.
Access to Rotary Trail will remain open.
Crews will be working in the area from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with work continuing over the weekend.
The city said some of the remaining work includes the final installation of channel riprap and embankment protection. Work is expected to finish by Wednesday, Aug. 26.
There may be minor disruptions for drivers, pedestrians, boat launch users and cyclists. For more information, visit the city’s website.
