Emergency crews responded to a slow speed head-on crash in West Kelowna, Wednesday night.

The two-vehicle collision happened just after 10 p.m. as a car attempted to make a right turn from Hebert Road onto Highway 97 and hit a pickup truck head-on.

According to a witness, a car turned right onto the one-way Highway 97 at a slow speed and as there wasn’t much force behind the collision, there was little damage to the vehicles.

BC Ambulance responded to the scene; however, no one went to hospital.

One lane of Highway 97 was closed while emergency crews were on scene.
