The City of West Kelowna has rescinded the water quality advisory put in place for the Pritchard-Sunnyside system.

The city put the advisory in place after a windstorm went through the Central Okanagan and caused turbidity issues in Okanagan Lake on Jan. 13.

“The city thanks users fo their patience while crews conducted sampling and testing and received all mandatory laboratory confirmations necessary to rescind the water quality advisory,” city staff said in a statement.

With quality now good throughout West Kelowna, free access to safe drinking water is no longer available.
