As summer comes to a close, West Kelowna’s Music in the Park season is also wrapping up.

The last day of the outdoor music event will feature Cod Gone Wild on Friday (Sept. 3). The Celtic-inspired band will perform two limited seating shows for free at 5:30 p.m. and again at 7:30 p.m. at Kinsmen Park (3170 Shannon Lake Road).

Each performance will only have 100 seats available and following public health orders, will be physically distanced.

Cod Gone Wild members have backgrounds in classical, folk, rock, and jazz music, fusing the styles to create a dynamic sound.

The band’s harmonies weave tales that evoke nostalgia in the crowd and keep them coming back.

The last day of Music in the Park will include Park Play Day activities for kids, as weather and air quality allow. There will also be food trucks on site.

If you are interested in attending the last show for this year’s Music in the Park season, you can register starting today by calling 778-797-8800.
