NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING (Z 23-09)

The City of West Kelowna will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. in Council Chambers at 2760 Cameron Road, West Kelowna, B.C. to consider:

ZONING AMENDMENT BYLAW NO. 0265.22

Location : 2355 Marshall Road

Legal Description : Lot 146, DL 2189, ODYD, Plan KAP5381, Except Plan H16956

File Number: Z 23-09

Purpose : Zoning Bylaw Amendment from the Manufactured Home Park Zone (RMP) to the Light Industrial Zone (I1). Permitted uses in the Light Industrial Zone (I1) include light industrial and commercial uses.

Copies of Bylaw 0265.22 may be viewed at Municipal Hall, 2760 Cameron Road, West Kelowna, on weekdays between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., excluding holidays.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

Due to limited seating, the City provides opportunities to phone-in. To register, call 778-797-2250, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. Once registered, staff will call you during the Public Hearing to address Council. Staff cannot provide specific times, therefore callers must be available throughout the Public Hearing. If you do not pre-register, but wish to speak, call 778-797-2250 during the Public Hearing. Council cannot receive submissions after the conclusion of the Public Hearing.

West Kelowna Council meetings provide limited seating based on a first-come, firstserve basis and the City encourages the public to watch via livestream at westkelownacity.ca/webcasts.

HOW TO MAKE SUBMISSIONS

Make submissions Attn: Corporate Officer, File No. (Z 23-09) and submit before 4:00 p.m. Monday, Jan. 22, 2024. Written submissions must include your name and address and can be submitted via:

Written submissions received by 4:00 p.m. Monday, Jan. 22, 2024 will be provided to Council as part of the publicly posted agenda.
