NOTICE FOR TEMPORARY USE PERMIT - TUP 23-01

City of West Kelowna Council will consider a resolution to issue Temporary Use Permit No. TUP 23-01 on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. in Council Chambers at 2760 Cameron Road, West Kelowna, B.C.

Locations: 815 and 819 Douglas Road, West Kelowna, B.C.

Lot 2, DL 2687, ODYD, Plan EPP92046.

Lot 3, DL 2687, ODYD, Plan EPP92046.

File No: TUP 23-01.

Purpose: Temporary Use Permit for Short Term Accommodations where the operator is not a principal resident. Mt. Boucherie Estate Winery plans to operate the Short Term Accommodations from the adjacent parcel.

Copies of the proposed permit may be viewed at Municipal Hall, 2760 Cameron Road, West Kelowna, B.C. on weekdays between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

West Kelowna Council meetings offer limited public seating on a first-come, first serve basis. Alternatively, the public may watch Council Meetings via live stream at westkelownacity.ca/webcasts.

HOW TO MAKE A SUBMISSION

All who believe their interest in property is affected by this proposal may provide a written submission for Council consideration in one of the following ways:

  • Mail it to Municipal Hall, 2760 Cameron Road, West Kelowna, B.C. V1Z 2T6.
  • Email it to submissions@westkelownacity.ca.
  • Leave it in person with main reception during business hours Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or, after hours, place in the drop box next to the main doors of Municipal Hall.

All submissions must be made Attn: Corporate Officer and received by 4:00 p.m. on Monday, July 10, 2023.

Submissions should reference file number TUP 23-01 in the subject line and include your name and the civic address or legal description of the land affected by the proposal. All submissions, including the names of authors will become part of the public record. The author’s phone number and email address are not relevant and should be excluded from the correspondence if the writer does not wish their personal information disclosed.

Any written submissions received before 4:00 p.m. on July 10, 2023, will be provided

to Council as part of the agenda.
