Notice is hereby given under section 6(1) of the Tree Farm Licence Management Plan Regulation, that Tolko Industries Ltd. is seeking public review and comment on the draft Management Plan #6 for Tree Farm Licence 49 (TFL49).
TFL 49 consists of approximately 110,426 hectares of crown and private land and has three distinct units. Block A is located northwest of Kelowna to the west of Okanagan Lake. Block B is located south of Monte Lake, and Block C is situated north of Falkland.
The Management Plan includes a draft timber supply analysis that analyzes short term and long term availability of timber for harvesting in the tree farm licence area and provides information to assist the Chief Forester of BC in determining the Allowable Annual Cut on TFL 49.
You are invited to view and comment on the draft Management Plan #6 from April 1, 2024 to May 31, 2024. All documents will be available for download from the following website: https://tolkowoodlands.com/southern-interior/
Printed documents will also be made available by mail or pickup at the Tolko Woodlands office in Lumby or Heffley Creek, BC or by e-mail if requested. Viewing appointments must be arranged by contacting jamie.skinner@tolko.com or 250-318-3779.
Comments will be accepted in writing until 4:00 pm May 31, 2024, and will be presented to the Chief Forester prior to determination of the Allowable Annual Cut.
