Passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 19, 2014 in Kelowna BC at the age of 86. She is survived by her four sisters; her children, Gary of Sidney, BC, Ken (Susan) of Kelowna, Maria of Kelowna, Darrell (Viola) of Morinville, AB, Terry (Shelley) of Sherwood Park, AB, Brenda Villeneuve of Kelowna, and Jaccie (Rob) Buchanan of Kelowna; her grandchildren, Renee, Janine, Maegan, Alex, Brian, Karie, Cheryl, Shawn, Christie, Devon, Joel, Levi, Jenna, Martina and her many great grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Alex LaBoucan, her parents, and four sisters and three brothers. Alexa will be sadly missed by her family, extended family, and many Friends. She was a committed Mother, Sister, Auntie, and Friend. In later years she enjoyed going for drives, and keeping connected through photos, email, and facebook. A Memorial and Tribute Service will be held on Friday, November 7 at 1:00 pm at the Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC. No flowers requested please donate to charity of your choice.
