Al Daum of Kelowna, BC, passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 2, 2018.
He was born February 15, 1925 in Regina, Saskatchewan, a son of the late Elizabeth and Philipp Daum.
He is survived by three sisters and their families: Ellie Loiselle, Carol Butler, and Olie Cosgrove.
Al was a veteran of the Royal Canadian Air Force, and his interests included family, history and politics. He was a devoted father, voracious reader, and friend to many who will miss his uncommon character and wisdom.
Al is survived by his son Clay and his wife Juliet and their two children in Charlottesville, Virginia; his daughter Kim McLean and her husband Jim of Kelowna and their family; and by his son John of San Francisco, California.
