Andrew Robert Jones passed peacefully surrounded by his family at home after a short illness on February 5, 2019, 6 weeks short of his 95th birthday.
He was a World War II Vet and served with the RCMP for over 25 years.
He was the most honourable, kind, giving, patient, caring, strong in character provider who loved deeply and lead his family proudly.
He is survived by his wife Claire of almost 60 years, daughters Margie (Larry) and Catherine; sons David (Leanne) and Robert; grandchildren Jonathan (Debra), Janel (Dan), Yoshi (Kim), Colin (Sonu), Curtis, Cody and Molly; great grandchildren Ava, Josiah, Keyahn, Ilia, Kayd, Mason and Alexis; and his sister Jessie Lindgren.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, February 8th, at 11:00 am at the Rutland Seventh-Day Adventist Church. 130 Gerstmar Rd.
