It is with profound sorrow that we announce the tragic passing of Andrew Scott Walker on July 2, 2009.
Beloved son of Scott and Cynthia Walker. Cherished brother of Kerry and Benjamin (Julia). Dearly loved grandson of Richard & Rosemary Stewart and John & Pat Walker. He will be remembered so fondly by his many aunts, uncles and
cousins: Garth Walker (Brenda), Jeremy (Christina), Lisa Klassen (Shawn) & Mackenzie; Jessica Smythe (Richard); Leanne Owenson (Chuck), Jacqueline & Hayley, Charles; Kim Naka (Glen), Shae, Brendan; Ben Stewart (Ruth), Llane (Jan), Kitson (Jennifer), Patrick; Andrea McFadden (David), Rory, Keely, Liam; Tony Stewart (Lisa), Rowan & Aidan.
Andrew enjoyed and cherished the company of his many wonderful friends and will be sadly missed by his dear pets, Burton and Kitty. Andrew freely gave away his infectious smile, which we will never forget, one that filled our hearts with joy. We’ll cherish and never forget his humour, great laugh or funny faces. Andrew was an
adventurous, athletic, intelligent, independent young man who graduated from KSS in 2006. His family was so very proud when he graduated in 2009 from BCIT with a Diploma of Technology in Business Management. Friends are invited to a time of visitation at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road on Thursday, July 9, 2009 from 3:00 – 5:00 pm. A celebration of Andrew’s life will be held on Friday, July 10, 2009 at 2:30 pm at Evangel Church, 3261 Gordon Drive, Kelowna. It is the families greatest hope that Andrew’s passing will not be in vain.
