ARLENE SYLVIA GROSS
Surrounded by her loving family, Arlene passed away on Wednesday, June 10th, 2009 at the age of 82 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Lynne (Roger) Petersen of Arizona and Brenda (Herman) Groen of Kelowna,. as well as her granddaughter Heather Clark (Kerry Cupiol); 2 sisters Alice Tews of Edmonton, Alberta and Marguerite Robinson of Kimberley, BC and her brother Sam Sheren of Barrhead, Alberta. Arlene was predeceased by her husband Arthur in 1992 and by her loving companion Harold Gladish on June 4th, 2009. Arlene is also survived by Harold's daughters, Joanne (Graham) Swain and Hollie (Steven) Stacey ,as well as numerous other family members and many dear friends. Arlene was born in Fort Assiniboine, Alberta and moved to British Columbia. She resided in Vancouver, Squamish, Port Alberni and Parksville before retiring to Kelowna in 1992. As per Arlene's wishes, there will be no service.
