MADSEN, BENT NIELSEN passed from this life to the next on Tuesday January 27th, just short of his 86th birthday, at Kelowna General Hospital. Left to cherish his memory are: his beloved wife, Jean; daughter, Joanne (Fred); sons, John (Debby) and David (Sharon); adopted daughter, Sylvia. Bent leaves seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He is survived by his sister, Elizabeth Hedges and brother, Pastor Holger Madsen.  Bent was born February 17, 1929 in Invermere, B.C., and lived in B.C. all his life. He met and married his wife, Jean (nee Pearson) on April 28, 1951. They moved to West Kelowna, B.C. from the Lower Mainland in 1974. Bent was known for his skill as a mechanic, an inventor and a fixer of all things. He loved his Lord, his family and his church family. Bent lived his life and conducted his business in a manner which reflected his love for God. He shared his faith with all who would listen. He will be sorely missed and fondly remembered.
