Ewasko Bertha Rita, passed away in the Kelowna General Hospital on November 27th, 2019 at the age of 88 in the loving hands of her family; daughters Sharon (Bill) MacDonald of Victoria, Lorraine Ewasko (James Batchelor) of Calgary and devoted son Darcy Ewasko and her grandson Mitchell both of Kelowna; three brothers Jules, Lenice and Eugene Brazeau all of Manitoba; granddaughters Denise Wadsworth of Winnipeg, Macal DeNeve of Kalamazoo, Michigan and great granddaughter Amonie Wadsworth and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her husband Michael Ewasko in 1996 and son Glen Ewasko in 1992. Prayers will be recited on Thursday, December 5th, 2019 at 7:00 PM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 2547 Herbert Road, West Kelowna, BC, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, December 6th, 2019 at 10:30 AM with Father Salmon Beguel as celebrant. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kelowna at 1:30 pm. Flowers will be accepted as Bertha loved flowers or a memorial donation may be made to the charity of one's choice in memory of Bertha.
