- GROTTOLO - Grottolo, Betty Ruth passed away in Kelowna on Thursday, August 27th, 2009 at the age of 61 years. Betty was born February 14, 1948 in Carmengay, Ab to Louie & Ruth Plourd. Betty is survived by her son Ryan (Kory) and their children Justin, Acacia and Kaitlyn all of Victoria, and her daughter Roxanne(Mike) Craigdallie of Calgary, Ab. Also surviving are Betty’s brother and sisters, Phil, Jean and Bernice. Betty was predeceased by her
loving husband Dennis in 2006 and her parents Louie & Ruth Plourd. A Celebration of Life will held at
Valleyview Funeral Home, 165 Valleyview Road, on Wednesday Sept. 2nd, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the ALS Society if so desired.
