With broken hearts we say goodbye to a loving wife, cherished sister, amazing Mother, wonderful Auntie and a very special Nana.
Bev was born July 24, 1939 in Sioux Lookout, ON. She spent her childhood playing on the shores of Pelican Lake and always lived on the water. She met and married her sweetheart Harry, and celebrated 59 years of marriage. Together they raised three children enjoying their summers at the cottage and winters celebrating the holidays surrounded by family and friends. They remained in Sioux Lookout until love for their grandchildren relocated them to Lake Country, BC. Bev was a great hostess and welcomed everyone into her home. Everyone who knew her will miss her kindness, wisdom, humour and hugs, she made the world a better place.
Bev was a passionate educator for 33 years and she began her teaching career at just 16. She earned a Bachelor of Education at Lakehead University and later attended the University of Western Ontario for her Masters. She inspired the students of Sacred Heart School for 17 years before becoming Principal. Beverley was a gifted leader and life-long learner. She was active in her community and church throughout her life, serving on the Catholic Board of Education and as a Minister of Communion.
Bev is reunited in heaven with her parents Ed and Verna and her two brothers, David and Arthur and her lifelong friend Marnie Hoey. She leaves to mourn her husband Harry, her children Richard (Sue) Kondra of Winnipeg, MB, Teresa (Steven) Gault of Kelowna, BC, Lorelei (Brant) Benum of Revelstoke, BC and her grandchildren Corbin, Hannah and Madison. She will be missed deeply by her sisters Audrey Kilpatrick, Cheryl (Victor) Powell, cousins Grace Kondra, Irene (Doug) Shields and numerous nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life to be held October 14th, 1 pm at St. Edwards Church Hall, Winfield.
