OLDFIELD, Brian Arthur With deep sadness we
announce the death of Brian Arthur Oldfield, aged 59.
He is survived by Coreen, his wife of 39 years, his daughters Catherine and June, their husbands Gary and Chris and his grandsons Kevin, Bryan and David, as well as his mother in-law Joan and extended family. Brian came to Canada from England in 1973 with his family. He loved living in the BC wilderness. Brian enjoyed fishing and hunting with his family. He was a millwright and machinist and he could fix or make anything. Dad worked hard all his life to keep us happy and safe. We wish he’d had a chance to retire and fulfill his dreams of travelling. We are very proud of him and very lucky to have had him as our husband, dad, and granddad. We will miss him
very much always. Donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in lieu of flowers. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 24, 2009 at 1:00 pm from Everden Rust Funeral Services.1910 Windsor Rd, Kelowna.
