FRANCHINI, CELESTINA
Passed away in Kelowna on Easter Sunday at the age of 84.
She was born to the late Sante and Maria Poles on June 1, 1929, in Vigonovo, Italy. She met her husband Walter Franchini while working in Switzerland, and they married in her home town on Boxing Day in 1954. They immigrated to Canada and lived in Edmonton, before locating to Kelowna in 1968.
Celestina was a beautiful, funny, warm, talented, kind, loving, wonderful, energetic, and fun loving person...our much loved Tina.
Celestina is survived by her husband Walter and two children; Jeff (Kirsten), of Burnaby, BC; Debbie (Thomas), of Kelowna, BC. She is also survived by her granddaughter and great-grandson; Zoe (Lance) and Blaine, both of Kelowna, BC. Also brother Severino Poles.
A service will be held at St. Pius X Catholic Church at 11am on Saturday, April 26. Reception to follow at Everden Rust Funeral Services. 1910 Windsor Rd. Kelowna.
