HUISMAN, CORA
March 24, 1933 ~ March 29, 2014
Cora passd away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 81, after a 3 1/2 year strugglewith Parkinsons disease.
She was born in the Netherlands, married, and moved to Canada in 1956,
and to the Okanagan in 1966. Throughout her life Cora loved doing handcrafts and was an active volunteer wherever they lived. Cora was pre-deceased by her grandson Jeffrey (1981), daughter-in-law Carol and grand-daughter Mandy (1981). She is deeply missed by her husband of 58 years, Mel Husiman, their 3 sons and daughters-in-law, 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. A celebration of Cora's life will be held on Thursday April 17, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in theClubhouse of Sun Village at 2230 Butt Rd., Westbank, BC. The family wishes to thank especially the two ladies of
"We Care", Louiza and Lorna, for their loving care of Cora.
