passed away at home May 11th. Daryl is survived by his loving wife Elaine Hughes-Games, his brothers and sisters: Bud, Terry, Anita, Marilyn (Earl) Savage, Jeanette, Lorretta, Ray, Gary (Jean), Mike (Claudia Rizzeto) and his many nieces, nephews and cousins. Also his aunt Jean Bell, uncle Albert (Dorothy) Wells, uncle Paddy Rabbitt, and his in-laws: Art (Norma Brooks) Hughes-Games, Gwen Steele, Steve (Joany) Hughes-Games, Geoff (Sue Seguire) Hughes-Games and their families. Daryl was born December 16th 1950 in Kamloops to Antonia (Tony) and John Carl (JC) Wells and grew up in Merritt, Sicamous and the Salmon River valley. He lived and worked in many communities in Manitoba, Alberta and B C but was always drawn back to the Okanagan. Daryl and Elaine moved to Westbank after their marriage in 1989 and have enjoyed their friends and neighbours and the small town atmosphere. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday May 24th at the Westbank Community Hall, 2644 Main Street, at 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the B C Cancer Agency, 399 Royal Avenue, Kelowna, B C V1Y 5L3 ( www.bccancer.bc.ca ) The family extends their thanks to the staff and volunteers at the Cancer Centre for the Southern Interior and at Douglas Fir Respite Unit as well as the Interior Health Palliative Care home support team.
