GARDNER, DAVID

David Gerard Gardner passed away February 18,
2014 at the Kelowna General Hospital after a brief illness.
Born December 15, 1955 in Jasper, Alberta, he was
predeceased by his parents Edward and Genevieve Gardner and his beloved dogs Frankieand Buddy. He is survived by
sisters Ann Lavender (Ken) and Jean Gardner (Steve Habel)
of Calgary. After completing high school at Bishop Carroll, Calgary, he graduated from RCMP training in 1975, Troop 29. He was posted at various locations in B.C. He was
the volunteer Head of Security for the Athletes’ Village at
the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics. Dave was athletic;
he enjoyed baseball, golf and was a talented hockey player. Dave was a friendly, kind person with many friends who
will miss him. Dave will be buried at the Sale’ family
plot in Athabasca AB.In memory of Dave donations may
