HUGHES, Derek Vernon
Born July 29, 1937 in Audenshaw, England and died on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 in Kelowna, BC, at the age of 79. Survived by his loving wife Rita; daughters: Debbie Hughes-Armstrong (Jim Armstrong) of Kelowna, BC, Angela Hughes (Dan Bourgeois) of Vancouver, BC; sister Rita Bridge (Desmond) of Cheshire, England; and niece Diane (David) Porter. There will be no service by request. A special thank you to the staff at Kelowna General Hospital for their kindness and care in his final days.
