Donald Bell (June 26, 1920-March 27, 2008 passed away peacefully in Kelowna at the age of 87 years. He is survived by his children: David (Sheila) of Armstrong, Ellen (Gerry) of Prince George, Douglas (Sharon) of Smithers, Linda Campbell of Prince George, his grandchildren Bill, Don (July), Lee (Lindsay), Jesse (Sandra), Allison, Cody and Sarah, and his many nieces and nephews and special friends. Donald was predeceased by his beloved Marion, wife of 57 years, also by his brothers Bill, Ken and sisters Mamie, Islay, Helen, Beth, Marion, Jean and Isobel. Donald and family moved to Westbank in April of 1961 where he bought a fruit hauling business. He loved to garden and see things grow one of them was beautiful roses.

He was very proud of his family and always remembered for his independent spirit, generosity, kindness and stories. A graveside service will be held at Westbank Cemetery on April 12, 2008 at 2 P.M. with Pastor Ed Skutshell of Grace Lutheran officiating. A tea will be held at the Comfort Inn (conference room) 1655 Westgate Road Westbank BC following the service. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.springfieldfuneralhome.com.
