Donna Jean Parker went to
be with her Lord on
February 22,2014 at the
young age of 72. Donna's
life and memory will be
forever cherished by
her husband Ken of 52
years and her 4 children,
(Pre-deceased Barbara Gail) Carolyn Werbitski (Dewayne), David Parker, Bruce Parker
(Rebecca) and her 4 so very
precious grandsons, Jefferey, Joel, Chase and Colby.
She loved her grandbabies
beyond measure and will be their and our guardian angel
for all time. Donna is also survived by 4 loving siblings.
David (Diane), Jim (Jolaine), Barbara and Ruth (Vern).
Donna was born on December 1, 1941 in Moose-Jaw,
Sask. She was a farmer's daughter and her love of the
prairies was forever a part of her soul. Endless wheat fields, grain elevators and prairie sunsets...to Donna this was a peace and beauty that couldn't be surpassed. Her natural talent behind the viewfinder and her love of photography and natures' beauty brought this to life and has
left behind countless memories to cherish.
She was blessed with a voice that touched so many
hearts and now heaven is blessed with her sweet song. She will be forever loved and deeply missed.
A celebration of Donna's life will be held at Valleyview
Funeral, 165 Valleyview Road, Kelowna, BC home on Tuesday, Feb 25, 2014 at 1 pm. Donations to World
Vision in Donna's honor are requested in lieu of flowers.
