October 7, 1952 - June 10, 2018
It is with broken hearts that we have been forced to say goodbye to our loved one, Dora Jane (Bauer), (Dubuc), Bifford. Jane left us peacefully and painlessly on Sunday June 10th after her short and courageous battle with Brain Cancer. Jane left us as she had lived her life, with dignity and grace.
Jane was born October 7th 1952 and was raised on her family's orchard in Southeast Kelowna with her brothers, Steven, Jack, Bert, Tim, Donald, and sister Jennifer.
After graduating from Dr. Knox high school, she married Ed Dubuc. Jane and Eddie had two children, Taidum (Kevin), Tyler (Teri). She also leaves behind her, three cherished grandchildren, Syris, Jaycee, & Tyson.
Jane and Eddie moved to Langley where they pursued their dreams and raised their family until Eddie's sudden passing in 2005.
Jane then retired from her 17 years as a Teaching Aid and returned to Kelowna where she re-connected with lifelong friend Donnie Bifford. Jane and Donnie married and spent the final years happily at each other's side until her passing.
Dora Jane was loved by all that knew her for her kindness, her compassion, and her endless support to whomever needed it.
She will be in our hearts forever and missed by us all each and every day.
Rest in peace dearest Dora Jane, Heaven is a better place with you being there.
A celebration of Jane's life will take place at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC on Saturday, July 14th at 1 PM.
