born March 13th, 1912 in the Okanagan Mission, B.C. passed away peacefully on March 7th, 2008 in the Cottonwoods Care Centre, Kelowna B.C. Predeceased by his wife Ginty, he is survived by his four children, Jim (Sandra), John (Lucille), Ruth Trueman (Mark) and Penne O'Neill, ten grandchildren and three great grandaughters. Ted served with the RCAF during WWII and then had a long career in the investement business until his retirement in 1996. He was a true pioneer of Kelowna who never lost his love for the Valley. He will be remembered for his community involvement with many organizations including serving as a President of The Kelowna Badminton Club, Kelowna Rotary Club, Red Cross Society and The Kelowna Figure Skating Club. Ted was instrumental in the establishment of the Okanagan Mountain Provincial Park. He was the campaign manager in every provincial election for former B.C Premier W.A.C. Bennett. There will be no service at the families request. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Kelowna General Hospital Foundation, 2268 Pandosy Street, Kelowna B.C V1Y 1T2
