WHITE, EDITH
Sadly passed away November 4, 2013 at the remarkable age of 101 years old. Born March 7, 1912 in Lolland Denmark and arrived in Canada in 1951.
She was a very independent woman who had various small
businesses and renovated small houses. Edith's passions as time moved on were dogs, gardening and reading. She loved to share her knowledge, wisdom and opinions with who ever so desired. Edith has requested No service.
A special "Thank You" to the caring staff at Springvalley Care Home. Those wishing to make memorial donations, may be made to the Salvation Army and or the SPCA.
Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free
I'm following the path, God laid for me
I took his hand, when I heard him call
I turned my back and left it all
If my parting has left a void
then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
and yes these things I too will miss
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief,
don't lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your heart, and share with me,
God wanted me now, he set me free.
