MOCKFORD, EDWARD (ED)
August 13, 1920 to May 7, 2012
Ed was born in Rocanville, SK and passed peacefully in his home with his family by his side. Ed spent 31 years in the military. Stationed in the UK during WWII, he met and married Phyllis Percy and they spent many years with postings across Canada and Germany. They retired to
Kelowna in 1970.Ed enjoyed hunting and was an avid fisherman as well
as a champion dart player. Ed was
predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Phyllis and his
daughter Sherry. Survived by his children Edward, Wayne (Bella),Darlene, Lynn, Terry (LeAnn) and Kimberly (Michael) Franz and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff of the Hemodialysis Unit and Dr. Mackle and his staff. Memorial Service to be held on May 11, 2012 at 2pm at RCL No. 26, 1380 Bertram St. Kelowna, BC.
