ELAINE MARIE CARLSON
November 10, 1938 - February 8, 2014
Elaine was born in
Saskatchewan and moved as a young adult to BC. She did various jobs such as
Secretorial, Shoe Sales
Manager and Real Estate Agent. Mom loved to garden and do yard work. She made her son a beautiful cabinet that will always be treasured. She was involved in the
Lions Club which she truely enjoyed and spoke of often. Her most special place to live was Pender Island where her and her soul mate Paddy built their dream home. She loved to travel and her most
memorable trip was to Ireland, Paddy's birthplace. She was a straight talker with a great sense of humor. Predeceased by her father Earl, mother Olive, sister Iris, brother Gordon, life partner Paddy. Remembered by her children Sharon (John), John (Ruby), grand children Brett, Byron & Joel,
siblings Don (Marie), Del (Joan), Marno (Klaus) and Betty, brother in law Ken, sister in law Doris and many nieces, nephews and friends.
We would like to thank Dr. Coplen for his excellent and
compassionate care as well as the nurses and staff at KGH.
A Celebration of life will be held February 21 at 11:00am at the Clubhouse at Crystal Springs, 1850 Shannon Lake Road, West Kelowna, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local animal shelter in Elaine's honor.
