HUVA, ELMA FRIEDA
Of Kelowna, died peacefully at the Central Okanagan Hospice House, on July 29, 2014. Born in Eatonia, Saskatchewan on August 26th, 1926. She and her husband farmed in Saskatchewan prior to moving to Kelowna in 1966. She was a member of the Kelowna Bible Chapel and a very active community volunteer with the BC Social Credit Party, Kelowna General Hospital and other organizations. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Alex; son Dan and two grandchildren. Surviving are her loving family; daughters, Darlene Undershute (Larry), Priscilla Melnichuk (Mike) and Susan Keetley (Scott) all of Kelowna; son, Ken (Kathy) of The Dalles, Oregon; 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren as well as brothers and sisters in the Lord. A service to celebrate her life will be held at the Kelowna Bible Chapel, 1423 Vineland, Kelowna on Monday, August 11th at 1pm. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers donations to the Central Okanagan Hospice House, 2035 Ethel Street, Kelowna, V1Y 2Z6 would be appreciated.
