1910 - 2009. Rolke - Elsie (nee Price) was born March 26, 1910 in Canmore, AB, the only daughter of Harry and Elizabeth Price, she passed away on February 5th, 2009 in Westbank, BC. She spent her school years there and on the farm in Isley, AB. She moved to the Okanagan when she was 18 and spent her younger years working in Summerland, Osoyoos, Oliver. She met and married her husband Dick in 1941 at the United Church in Osoyoos. They lived in Oliver until 1958 when they moved to Westbank. She spent her years raising her family and enjoyed playing her piano in her spare time. She is predeceased by her husband Dick in 1998, her brothers Vernon and Albert. She is lovingly remembered by her three children Maurice, Eileen Dionne (Walt), Norma Flack (Dave), her grandchildren: Richard (Jodie), Jim, Russell and Tara, great grandchildren: Caitlin and Robyn, her brother Eric (Lorraine) and many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Dr. Mark Corbett for his care and the very caring, loving staff of Reece Unit at Village at Smith Creek for their excellent care of Elsie, she really loved you! A Memorial service will be held in the Westbank United Church, 3672 Brown Road, Westbank on Wednesday, February 11th, 2009 at 1:00 P.M.
