DUYVEWAARDT, EMILE (BILL)
Emile (Bill) Duyvewaardt
was born October 12, 1924 Rouler’s Went Flanders,
Belgium. Emigrated to
Canada 1927, in 1944 Bill
started studies at MacDonald College of McGill University, completed qualifications for a B.Sc. (Agri) and COTC (RCIC) by 1950. After further
qualification completed UBC
Diploma and M.E.D.
completion at University of Washington for Secondary School Teaching. In 1951
Bill married Belinda Taylor
in Kelowna, BC. Bill spent his teaching career in several
locations throughout the province of British Columbia and was an avid outdoor’s man. He is survived by his wife
Belinda, two sons and four grandchildren and was
predeceased by his daughter Daphne. A private family
