VERMETTE, EMILIENNE (EMILY) ANGELE
Passed away on
March 2, 2013 at the
Central Okanagan
Hospice at the age of
83 years. Emily was
predeceasedby her
parents Didace and Cecile Audette and six siblings, Emile, Lucien, Irene,
Marie-Ange, Annette and Cecile. She is survived
by her five siblings,
Marcelle, Agnes, Louise, Alice and Yvonne. She will be lovingly remembered by her three daughters Gisele Brodie, Paulette Bradeen and Suzanne (Mick) Wood; also by her seven
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Emily was
a member of the Catholic Women’s League of Canada
and was a chaplains aid at Kelowna General Hospital
for many years. She also loved sewing and gardening.
A Service will be held on Friday, March 22nd
at 1:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Church,
839 Sutherland Avenue, Kelowna, with Father
Don Wilson officiating. Interment to follow at
Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers
donations can be sent to Gideons International
Canada or Central Okanagan Hospice.
